Guess what

I have completed a couple more cards that are not Christmas!!! I know you simply can not believe it but it is true ;-)
I hope you like them. These are using the Printed Window Sheets Clearly Thanks from Stampin' Up! that I have had and just not gotten around to using. I really needed a few Thinking of you cards to mail and decided to try these sheets. The card stock is Naturals White for the base card and Bermuda Bay for the background of the window sheet. I stamped the saying that is in the new Hostess set Kind and Caring Thoughts in Basic Black directly on the Bermuda Bay. Quick and easy but I think they look pretty good. I have another one in the works that I might be able to get uploaded later today. Have a wonderful stampin' day!

Christmas time.....

Well, at least the second card is Christmas. The top card is that new In Color from Stampin' Up! Melon Mambo and it is stamped on Shimmery cardstock that has been run through the Big Shot using the Elegant Bouquet Embossing Folder. I love the look of that folder on that cardstock. I will get back with you on the stamp set as it slips my mind right now.
Now that Christmas card is all completed in Black, white and gold. It is the Stampin' Up! set Holy Family that will be available the 1st of September. I used a set of my Nesties for the layers and edged them each with a gold leafing pen. Also used the new Modern Label punch for the greeting and that greeting is a new one coming out on the 1st also. The set is Four the Holidays and I masked this stamp and only used Peace - the full stamp is Peace on Earth.
Hope to be back again soon. I'm also getting around and visiting everyone.

Delightful Decorations again......

This one is easy. I Embossed the ornament stamping it first with VersaMark then with Night of Navy Ink and used clear embossing powder. That new Ornament Punch from Stampin' Up! fits this set and then I used my gold leafing pen to outline it. I know the Navy organdy ribbon is retired from Stampin' Up! but just had to use it for this. The Merry Christmas comes from the set A Cardinal Christmas then punched with the new Modern Label punch then mounted on a piece of Night of Navy that I had cut from the Ovals Die. The Shimmery card stock background was embossed with the Petals-A- Plenty folder. All products Stampin' Up!

A CASE.....

My friend and neighbor, who I have yet to meet ;-) Naomi had this terrific card I just had to CASE. Now I don't have the same set she used but I did just get my backorder with the Delightful Decorations set and decided to use that. I also used a Gold Leafing pen to go around each ornament and to edge the embossed folder. BTW - the folder Petals A Plenty is new also, isn't it just great. All products Stampin' Up!

Visit Naomi and tell her I sent you.
Here is her card:

My new Cabinet

I am so very happy with the new storage that hubby made me for my craft room that I have to share a photo of it already full. I complained to him that I didn't have a place to store all my scrapbooks and he said he would make it for me. Now, half of those books will be going to the grands in the very near future as soon as I make tags for the outside of them. The second photo shows one of the two colors I am using to paint my room. Taken with Teal, yup, that is the first color of choice. Now I will only be doing one other wall in this color and then I have picked a much lighter version for the other two walls. When I will finish with painting them is another story as that means moving everything! I think it will be one wall at a time. You notice those lovely roses on the side of the cabinet? How cool are they. Yes they are Manhattan Flower from Stampin' Up! and I still have one left to go on one of my walls. I think it will be going right over where my computer is when that wall has been painted. Don't look for that until much later this year or early next year. There is just too much going on now. So what do you think of it?

Back again!

I have been playing around with the Lattice Die from Stampin' Up! and made these Christmas Ornaments. I think that they will be added to gifts for the holidays this year. I always try and do homemade stuff. The top one is made using Brushed Gold card stock and gold elastic cord along with the Pretties Kit. The close up and last one use Shimmery card stock, silver elastic cord and the Pretties Kit. I really like that new die.

Some cards

Cards completed using Stampin' Up! Merry Moments Designer Paper and new Polka Dot grosgrain ribbon. The stamp set Christmas Punch, the crimper, large grommet and various punches were used.

A Christmas Project

First off my Christmas project. I have been thinking about this for some time and finally got it almost completed. I will probably add more fibers to it before it really goes up for the holidays.

Most all products Stampin' Up! Merry Moments Designer Paper, Real Red, Very Vanilla, Old Olive card stock, Clip Assortment, Schoolbook Serif Alphabet, Round Tab Punch, Scallop Circle#2 Die, Circles #2 Die, Basic Brown and Real Red ink, Red Grosgrain Ribbon are the Stampin' Up! supplies. I used the card board from the Stampin' Up! papers and Mod Podge was coated on the top.
