Very behind

In visiting friends and adding cards. I have so much going on with yard work and summer stuff I won't be able to visit quite as often as before. I have a couple of cards to add here and then later hope to get around and visit everyone.

No Christmas cards this time I have a Thinking of you and Birthday card both done with the new In Colors from Stampin' Up! I just love these new colors and the new designer paper Razzleberry Lemonade. The flower die is Blossom Party also from Stampin' Up! On the Thinking of You card I also used the Scallop Punch and cut it like a flower for one of the layers. The designer paper on the Thinking of You card was run through the Big Shot using the new Stampin' Up! Impressions Folder Finial Press but it is difficult to see.

On the Birthday Celebrations card I stamped the main background using the new Greenhouse Garden stamp set and Itty Bitty Backgrounds in Rich Razzleberry ink. Both cards use Crystal Effects, Dazzling Diamonds and Crushed Curry Grosgrain Ribbon. Hope you like them

Are you tired

of Christmas cards? I hope not because that is the mode I am in right now. Here are a couple more.

Here we go with more of the new Designer Paper Merry Moments from Stampin' Up! I used the Christmas Punch stamp set which is a Hostess set for the only stamping on this first card. I love the new Snowflake punch and added Crystal Effects and Dazzling Diamonds to the snowflake before mounting it on circles of Real Red and Garden Green. I punched out 2 of the Large Ovals in the Garden Green and placed them under my verse.

This second card is the new stamp set Scenic Season and I used Handsome Hunter and Bravo Burgundy for my colors. Burgundy Grosgrain, Crystal Effects, Dazzling Diamonds and the Horizontal Slot Punch were the accessories used. All products Stampin' Up!

New cards!

I have been out of town. It is good to be home and playing again. All of these cards have been made using my new goodies from Stampin' Up! I love all this new stuff, just like Christmas ;-)

I'm just going to give the very basics on these for now. I'll try and get back later and add more information.
First card uses the new In Color Melon Mambo, new Designer Paper Cottage Wall, new Impressions Folder Final Press, stamp set Oval All, punches and new Die Cut Blossom Party.
Second card uses stamp set Flower Fancy, Great Friend, new Designer Paper Nouveau Chic, Black Grosgrain Ribbon, Punches.
Third card uses Christmas Punch stamp set, Merry Moments Designer Paper, Circles Die Cut, Punches, Real Red Dotted Grosgrain and paper piercer.

I think the 3rd one is my favorite! Hope you like them and I'll be around to visit some time today.

Christmas Cards

The Challenge at Christmas Cards All Year Round is to use Red, White and Blue. I have finally been able to find some time to work on cards again.

Here are my 5.
1) The top one uses the Crimper! I haven't used it in ages and I love it. The stamp set is A Wish for Peace along with Snow Swirled for the greeting. I used the Oval Punch and the Oval Scallop Punch, dimensionals, 2 way glue pen, Dazzling Diamonds.

2) This one used Snow Swirled stamped in Night of Navy on Whisper White, mounted on Night of Navy, then mounted on Real Red. This is the only layer but you notice that the insert pulls out and has the larger design and the greeting. Again the oval punches were used and the Real Red Grosgrain Ribbon. I had some felt snowflakes left over from last Christmas and Cut one down to fit on the front of the pocket that was made from the Stampin' Up! Scallop Envelope Die folded the top down and attached cut off pieces from the snowflake to each scallop. Added a touch of Crystal Effects and Red Chunky Glitter to the center for a different Christmas card.

3) Card 3 is super easy. The Santa from Jolliest time of the Year stamped in Real Red on Whisper White, mounted on Night of Navy with a base card of Real Red. Topped off with Red Grosgrain and a touch of Chunky Glitter on his cuffs and pom-pom

4) Card 4 Home for Christmas stamped in Night of Navy on Glossy White then mounted on Real Red, with a base card of Night of Navy. I used Real Red marker to color in the bulbs and bow on the door. Punched the new Modern Label punch twice and layered it under the greeting.

5) Last but not least I used the Snowflake die and mounted it on Night of Navy that I ran through the Cuttlebug using Snowflake folder. Red Grosgrain around it with the saying on top.

All products except the Snowflake folder and Cuttlebug are Stampin' Up! I hope to spend time in the morning getting around a visiting everyone. Have a safe and Happy 4th of July!
