I know

You are probably getting tired of these so this will be my last one for now. I need to clean up my scrap room and start on my scrapbooking, catch up on swaps and do some housecleaning.

1) all card stock is Club Scrap
2) Stamps are from Stampin' Up! Friends 24-7 stamp set.
3) Oval punch from Stampin' Up! and flowers cut using Sizzix Flower, Daisies #2 which I love layering in different colors.
4)Pearl Accent in center of flower is from Stampin' Up! Pretties Kit

Here's another......

I am very pleased with this one! I wanted to do a Holiday card so this is what I settled on.
1) All card stock Stampin' Up!
2) Basic Black Textured 12 x 5 1/2
3) Whisper White Textured cut various sizes and run through Cuttlebug with the Snowflake folder
4) Merry Christmas stamped in Memento Black - the Merry Christmas is Stampin' Up! but I don't know which set.
5) The large snowflakes were from Stampin' Up! last winter, smaller ones were punch and placed on top then had Stickles added.
Hope you like it.

I just had to make

one of these cards!

All supplies Stampin' Up! except for the Hydrangea Petals which are from Prima Marketing, Inc.

1) Base card is Whisper White
2) Designer Paper is Bella Birds
3) Stamp set is Friends 24-7
4) Punches are Stampin' up! Scallop Oval and Stampin' Up! Oval, whoops I also used a Marvy Scallop Oval

For full directions you can go here for a great tutorial:

Hope you like it!

Our oldest grand will be 25

next week! I don't know how he can be that old, I'm only 36. Oh well, I have to get this one mailed off today so he gets it in time. Hope you like it I have trouble with masculine cards.
1) Base card is Chocolate Chip
2) 2nd layer Close to Cocoa
3) Stamped the lighthouse from Stampin' Up! Winds of Grace set in Basic Brown on Very Vanilla card stock
4) I haven't done torn edges in a long time so I decided to tear all the edges then sponge Basic Brown.
5) Used my Marvy Uchida Large Scallop Oval for Chocolate Chip
6) Went down one size and punched a pre-stamped Birthday Wishes from Very Vanilla, then sponged the edges with Basic Brown.
7) Cut small pieces of brown from a retired Stampin' Up! felt ribbon and adhered to edges of Close to Cocoa card stock
8) Mounted the stamped image at an angle over the ribbon.
9) Mounted the stamped Birthday Wishes from Sincere Salutation over lighthouse.

Mothers Day cards

I have done three of them so far. Not really sure about them at all. The first one is a very simple easy to do basic card.
1) Whisper White base card
2) Stamped the Mothers day verse in Basic Black
3) A strip of Bella Rose Designer paper
4) Knotted a piece of Riding Hood Red Double stripped ribbon across the middle.
5) Added Crystal Effects to the top two rows of dots
6) Then topped the CE off with Chunky Glitter

For the second one I pulled out some really retired Cranberry Crisp card stock
1) Whisper White base card
2) Cranberry Crisp done using the Swiss Dots folder from Cuttlebug
3) Trim picked up at WalMart placed across top and mounted to base card.
4) Labels Four Nestabilities used in 3 different sizes for the main verse.
5) Stamped Happy Mother's Day in Basic Black on the smallest and then used direct to paper to add some Cranberry to the edge.
6) On the largest Nestie piece I did paper piercing freehand so they are not exactly neat.

Number three also uses Cranberry Crisp along with True Thyme
1) Cranberry Crisp base card
2) 2nd layer True Thyme
3) Stamped the largest image from Fifth Avenue Floral in Cranberry Crisp, then stamped it 2 more times, cut different sizes and pop dotted them over the main rose. Stamped the verse in Basic Black.
4) To add a little color to the rose I used my Blender Pen and just picked up ink from the Cranberry Crisp pad then used Stickles over the added color.
5) Used direct to paper for the edge and pulled out an old Anna Griffin Ornamental Bracker punch from All Night Media to do the top 2 corners.

More great blog candy.....

Check out the candy that Yvonne has up for grabs. Lot of time but don't put it off!~

Award

I received this award from my blogger friend Cheryl Joshua. Thank you Cheryl! I am to pass this on to 8 others which is very, very difficult as I view so many wonderful blogs. If you have yet to receive this award please add it to your blog with my compliments. Thank you so much for visiting with me.

Here is that 2nd one

I don't know why I couldn't get it added before but it's here now. I have already mailed 2 of the sympathy cards I needed but here is the 3rd one. Almost the same but I used the Stampin' Up! Scallop Edge punch for 3 layers. I also used the Scallop Circle Punch to make the base of the flower and then used the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder. This one will go to my grand-daughter-in-law who just lost her grandmother.

Two for today.....

Well for some reason my second one won't upload right now. I'll come back to it later. This one is for one of my daughter-in-laws whose birthday is the 3rd of May. I chose to do this in Riding Hood Red with Bella Rose Designer Paper. I did use the Scallop Border punch on two of the layers and The set for the Nestabilities Labels Four for the Birthday Wishes. Cuttlebug folders Swiss Dots and Swirls were also used. They are my two favorite folders - at least for now. I also used some flowers from the Pretties Kit, looks like a big crease in the large flower so I may have to change it. I am probably, no definately going to add some glitz to this before I mail it to her.

Card change

I made a change to the card I completed for the Cuttlebug Spot Challenge and added a lyer behind it. I cut a piece of Whisper White carstock from Stampin' Up! 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 and used the Dvine Swirls Cuttlebug folder then sponged on the Tempting Turquoise. Hope you like the change I like it much better but it didn't fit the Challenge.

Birthday Celebrations

I have not done a birthday card in quite a while and I have several coming up in the near future.
1) Real Red Stampin' Up! cardstock for base card
2) Bella Rose Stampin' Up!Designer Paper embossed with Cuttlebug folder Swiss Dots for the next layer
3) Whisper White strip run through the Cuttlebug with the Houndstooth folder the sponged with Real Red.
4) Red Striped Grosgrain from Stampin' Up! adhered to center of white strip
5) Stampin' Up! Upsy Daisy set stamped in Real Red onto Whisper White cardstock and adhered to a layer of Real Red then mounted onto the base card. Added a knotted bow above the image.
6) Stickles added to flowers

Cuttlebug Spot Challenge #26

The Challenge was to do a shape card. I used Stampin' Up! Top Notch Die without going all the way to the end. Tempting Turquoise Cardstock was folded over so I would be able to open it. I used Whisper White for the next layer and stamped the saying from the Stampin' Up! set Friends 24-7 in the Turquoise then ran it through the Cuttlebug Swirl folder, sponged on a little color, added Prisma flowers, the largest folded in half with a small one added to the center. I then used tiny pearls from the Stampin' Up! Pretties Kit in the center of all the flowers. I finished it off with Organdy White Ribbon and the top. Stop by http://thecuttlebugspot.blogspot.com/2009/04/challenge-26-shape-it.html
and check out the great cards on the challenge.

Challenge card

Most products are Stampin' Up! The flowers are Prisma. I used the Swiss Dots Folder on the background paper and then used a MS border punch for the strip that I have the numbers added to. 1, 2, 3 is for the 3 layers of flowers no other reason.

Another ATC

This ATC is for the Deck of Art on the Paperartists group. This weeks theme is to incorporate a button into the design. The button and Fabulous Friend are both from Stampin' Up! in the new Occasions Mini that is out now. The flowers are from Paper Imagery and I added stickles to them.

ATC

This ATC was completed for a challenge over at PaperArtistsOnline. If you have a chance stop in and visit them.

All cardstock is Stampin' Up! Base layer is Tangerine Tango which is one of the current In Colors. I will be so sorry to see these great In Colors leave but can't wait to see what will take there place. For the next layer I used Whisper White and my Kaleidacolor Cappuccino Delight which is retired from Stampin' Up! I just sponged the background. I really like the way the background came out. I needed some bling so I added 3 layers of Prisma flowers, topped with Crystal Stickles. The center of the little flower actually has some Crystal Effects and Dazzling Diamonds to finish it off. Fabulous Friend is from the new set in the Oval AllStampin' Up! Occasions Mini Catalog that is now available for purchase. I also used the new Scallop Oval Punch also in the same mini. I sponged the edge, colored in the little flowers, added Crystal Effects and Dazzling Diamonds. I hope my swap friends will like it.

From the garden

I haven't had time to do any crafting so I thought I would show you a couple of the flowers that are blooming now in my yard. I have a big bouquet of them in my front room and the fragrance is wonderful. I also have a couple of huge tick bites. Be careful if you are working in your gardens.

Tag You're It!!!

It is Birthday time at Tag You're It and this is the tag I did for them. Background is acrylic paints done in a swirl and then used a retired Stampin' Up! Birthday greeting stamped in Pink Passion ink and punched out with the Stampin' Up! Scallop Circle punch and mounted in the center of my flower with dimensionals. The flower was then mounted on the tag using double layers of dimensions so it would stand out. On top of the birthday greeting I used a CTMH Window Charm. Then the to you was cut out on the Cricut mounted on the tag then covered with Crystal Effects and Dazzling Diamonds. Double Grosgrain ribbons were placed at the bottom and I used the Martha leaf punch for some of the leaves the large leaves were cut free hand.

TJ Chalk Lines

I like the way this turned out for me. I used Stampin' Up! cardstock, chalks, markers, ribbon and the saying. The Morning Glory stamp is from Rare Image Rubber Stamps and I love this set. I've had it for some time but didn't have time to play with it. I also add some glitter to the flowers.
If you haven't check out Technique Junkie's go to: www.techniquejunkies.com and see the wonderful newsletter information.
