More from Tim....
The top one is my version of his day 7 tag. My flourishes did not turn out for some reason so I added a few white snowflakes. I do like it. The bottom one is my version for day 7 - totally different right??? I didn't make a removable piece of jewelry as I didn't really have half the stuff he used. I am not sure about that one.

It is fixed!
I do have the computer working again and just wanted to pop and wish you all a very HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
In the meantime I will post a couple of photos of some of my holiday decorations. I have the tree in our bedroom done and will get the big one up this weekend. I have already started some of my baking - got a pound cake made yesterday and made some fudge the day before. I will be cutting way back on baking but with everyone coming here at Christmas I have to have goodies to serve and my mom always looks forward to taking some home with her when they go back to Florida.
The first photo shows the HOHOHO that I got from Stampin' Up!. I don't have this piece finished yet but it is up. I'll post another when it is done. Need to do something about those dang clips. The 2nd photo is a close up of the Christmas tree in our bedroom, actually it is a photo of our cat Tom sleeping under the Christmas tree. The last photo is my newest piece for this year Santa, he moves and plays music and I just know the grands will love him when they see him.

My computer is dead for now. I have to use my husbands laptop and can't add any artwork here. I hope to be able to get back soon but don't know how long it will take to hopefully get it repaired.

Courage Chunky Swap
I did this swap with some ladies on Paperartistsonline.com. We were to place 5 objects in a baggie and do 5 sets. Then were then sent to the other members who signed up for it. I just got my 5 back and had to show them to you. The scanner does not do them justice and I may have to take pictures so you can see them better. I had a ball doing this swap and can't wait to do the next one. The finished pieces are 4 x 4 and when you recieved the baggie you were to work on you had to incorporate all 5 items from the baggie. You could add anything else or alter the piece however you wanted. Aren't they just fantastic!!!

Christmas Tree Ornaments
Here are some of the Ornaments that I am working on as gifts. I don't have any of my trees out yet so I can't show them hanging up. I will remedy that soon. The top glass ornament uses Stampin' Up!s snowflake punch and designer paper with some filler inside the ornament.
The bottoms ones use the large Snowflake Die and I have used several of the Designer papers from Stampin' Up! for these. They are colorful on both sides.
A piece of designer paper was run through the Xyron and then adhered to the Thick Window Sheets from Stampin' Up! before using the large Snowflake Die #2. I did this to give them more body. Then on the paper side I used Crystal Effects and Dazzling Diamonds. Once the first coat was dry I went over it again with Crystal Effects so they would really stand out. They look much prettier in person and I am sure to make a lot more. So these will go to the family at Christmas. Hope you like them.
Time to Catch Up!
There has just been so much going on. I feel I will not be able to keep as active here as what I had but will be checking in at least once a week. I have started going around to the wonderful blogs and seeing the terrific art work you have been producing. I will try and get a few things posted over the weekend.
I also feel very pleased that since January I have lost 50 pounds and should reach my goal weight this week. I feel ever so much better and will be posting a new photo soon. Have a great day my friends.

Out of Town
I have been out of town and will be gone until October 2, 2009. A couple of family members are having surgery and we have gone to be with them. One surgery is over and went well. The next one is scheduled for Tuesday and we hope it goes well also. See you when I get home.

Acrylic Album
I think I have all these pages in order now. I just got this completed and don't really know for sure what I'm going to do with it. It might be a gift for a family member after I add some photos. This is all Stampin' Up! products and I really enjoyed making it. I also used some punches, ribbon and various trinkets from my stash.
This is my first time using those wonderful thick Window Sheets and Stampin' Up! Scallop Square and the Big Shot. They are just so easy to cut. I used both the Merry & Bright and the Icicle Rub-Ons from Stampin' Up! The card stock is both Real Red and Soft Suede along with the Christmas Cocoa Specialty Designer Series Paper.
Here is the cover:
First page inside with the Window sheet lifted:
Next set of pages:
Last page and Window Sheet back with Snowflake from Icicle Rub Ons. These are so easy to use and really do add a lot. Hope you enjoy this project. Have a great stampin' day!!

Using blue for Christmas
I keep getting further behind but needed to get another card posted. This is all Stampin' Up! products.
Card stock: Brilliant Blue and Whisper White
Ink: Brilliant Blue
Stamp Sets: Serene Snowflakes and Delightful Decorations
Accessories: Sponged edges, Shimmer Paint, Ornament Punch, Merry & Bright Rub Ons and retired Silver Cord.
I sure hope to have some time later today to get around and see all the wonderful work I have been missing. Since the weather has been so nice outside I have been really busy in my flower gardens. Trying to get caught up there. Can someone please give me the secret for staying up to date with everything. Have a great day my friends!

Here we go again........
Yup, another Christmas card! I just love the new Christmas Cocoa Specialty Designer Paper from Stampin' Up! I used the Petals-A-Plenty Impression Folder and Shimmery card stock for my base card. A slice of that new paper and a simple Merry Christmas from Christmas Greetings along with that wonderful star from the Holy Family stamp set. Simple, easy but I think elegant. Added the Whisper White Organza ribbon and it is finished.

Stampin' Up! Bigz XL Die O Christmas Tree
Ornament

Guess what
I have completed a couple more cards that are not Christmas!!! I know you simply can not believe it but it is true ;-)
I hope you like them. These are using the Printed Window Sheets Clearly Thanks from Stampin' Up! that I have had and just not gotten around to using. I really needed a few Thinking of you cards to mail and decided to try these sheets. The card stock is Naturals White for the base card and Bermuda Bay for the background of the window sheet. I stamped the saying that is in the new Hostess set Kind and Caring Thoughts in Basic Black directly on the Bermuda Bay. Quick and easy but I think they look pretty good. I have another one in the works that I might be able to get uploaded later today. Have a wonderful stampin' day!
