CLUB SCRAP VALENTINE

I got into my Valentine Kit from Club Scrap the other day and this is the card I came up with.
I stamped the image and then decided to edge that piece and the black background piece with a gold leafing pen. Of course the reason it is on an angle is that it was not stamped correctly but hey, it looks okay like this. I used the stencil that came with the kit to do the swirls on two corners. I've gotten into the "2" corner thing lately. A little glitter glue on the wings and it is finished!
Thanks for looking and be sure to check out Club Scrap.

BEADS

Here is a card that I did using a Cupid design that I got from Pennywise Arts. The slide designs were made exclusively for Pennywise by Michele A-Z of Swing Shift Designs.
Check them out if you get the chance and let them know that Cheryl Miller sent you. The beads are from Pennywise and Suzanne has a wide assortment in many colors.
The background paper is Berry Bliss from Stampin' Up! and the stamp set Wonderful Words was used in Purely Pomegranate Ink. The retired Wrought Iron punch was used in two corners.

BEATE'S SKETCH CHALLENGE FOR 1-25-08

This is the card I did for Beate's sketch challenge. I haven't used Heartfelt Thanks in some time so that is the set I choose to play with. I used Stampin' Up!'s new designer paper Berry Bliss along with Pretty in Pink, Close to Cocoa and Very Vanilla. I pop dotted the center flower and added beads using the Crystal Effects. I also outlined the "heartfelt" verse with the same beads. I love the grosgrain ribbon so that was added.
I hope you like this card and stop over and visit Beate's Challenges. A link to her site is on the left. The beads can be found at PennywiseArts and that link is also to the left.

Another SPLITCOAST CHALLENGE

The Color Challenge for this week is to use Real Red, Blue Bayou and Soft Sky. Didn't think that I would like those colors together but I think they work out great.
This card uses the new Stampin' Up! set A Beautiful Thing. I also used the above colors, added the new striped Red Grosgrain ribbon and some red beads in the center of my two pop dotted "flowers". I pulled out the Crafters Tool Kit for the paper piercing in the Blue Bayou.

SPLITCOASTSTAMPERS CHALLENGE

This is one of the cards I did for the Featured Stamper Challenge. I haven't used this set much so decided to give it a go. My new favorite color is the Purely Pomegranate so I used it on this card. I used Chocolate Chip for the card base and to stamp the verse. I also stamped the design on our Shimmery cardstock. Hope you like it.

Stellar Jay

Here is my latest scrap page. I decided that Mr Jay would be terrific looking on the CLUB SCRAP Centenntial Casual cardstock. This beautiful bird was in Yellowstone National Park and I couldn't resist taking many photos of him. He kept turning his back to me but I didn't care. Is he not gorgeous! I also stamped French Flair from Stampin' Up! on the bottom of the page.

Torn Blossoms

This card was done for the Splitcoaststampers Color Challenge CC145. Color challenge CC145 was to use Wild Wasabi, Elegant Eggplant and So Saffron on a card. I love Elegant Eggplant so I had no trouble deciding on the Stampin' Up! set Blossoms Abound for this one. This also uses the new Elegant Cheer set.
I also added this to the challenge on Sharon Johnson's blog. You can check out her challenges. I have linked to her blog on the left.

This is my first time entering Beate's Challenge. I have done several challenge cards the past few days and plan on getting a few up here today.
This card uses:
Natural Beauty
It's Your Birthday
Weathered Background
I have also used the Pretties Kit, Ticket Corner Punch and Double Stitched Blue Bayou Grosgrain Ribbon. Cardstock used is Barely Banana, Wild Wasabi and Blue Bayou. Well, I almost forgot that I used the Designer Label Punch for the saying. This card also will go into the Color Challenge CC148 on Splitcoast. I hope you like it.

MORNING SOFT 2

While I am at it I may as well go ahead and put this up also. This is my version of "Spotlighting". I used the Scallop Punch for this. Here again I used the Crystal Effects and Dazzling Diamonds on the main image.

MORNING SOFT

I must say that I really like these two new stamp sets. Morning Soft and Elegant Cheer are wonderful to work with. I decided to use Stampin' Up! markers on this card and used the darker shade for the outlines and filled in the centers with lighter shades. I also cut out an extra main blossom and not only pop dotted it but also used Crystal Effects and Dazzling Diamonds.
I decided to use the retired Organdy Ribbon for an additional accent. Hope you like it.

SPRING SONG

I love Humingbirds so I had to order the Spring Song set! I used the Lovely Lilac and Whisper White for this one. I cut an extra humingbird and pop dotted him a little to the side. This card also uses Elegant Cheer and A Beautiful Thing stamp sets from our new Idea Book. Other products used include white grosgrain ribbon, Pretties Kit and the horizontal slot punch. I hope you like it.

Here are a couple more pages of my Acrylic Album from the December Sparkle Kit from Club Scrap. I have had a lot of fun doing these and can't wait to get photos added to them. I may just add Christmas photos of the grands on these. It might make a cute album to give to my mom.

I just had to had some "extra" glitz to the pages by using Rhinestones and the window charms.

CLUB SCRAP

I am going to show some of the 6 x 6 layouts that I have been working on today. This is Club Scraps Decmeber Sparkle Kit. I just love this cardstock. Now I need to search my many hundreds of photos to place something on the layout.

This is a layout I just completed that uses both Stampin" Up! and Club Scrap products. Another part of our journey out west this past summer.
