Christmas Wall Hangings
I just love these little wall hangings. I got the idea for them from Christy B on Paperartistsonline.com. I have plenty of this Graphic 45 card stock and decided that these images are perfect. I used Stampin' Up! card stock and ribbon along with Stickles for added glitz. The rub on is from Hamby Screen Prints. I'm not sure about the flowers but most likely are Prima. One of these has already gone to a new owner as a surprise. I hope you like these

Time for food!!!
I'm starting my holiday cooking and the fudge is the first thing that I make and get into the freezer. As you can see this recipe makes a huge pan of yummy fudge. Makes great gifts. The second photo is a pot of veggie soup that really goes well on a cool fall day. Hope you enjoy

JOY Banner
I just put my JOY banner together and really like the way it turned out. My letter for this swap on PAO (paperartistsonline.com) was the O. Julie S did the J and Rachelle E completed the banner doing the Y. I love how all three of us used different sized letter and the backgrounds blend well. For my O I used my Cricut cartridge Ashlyn's Alphabet which happens to be my all time favorite. I used Stampin' Up! designer papers Deck the Halls. I also used the new color Cherry Cobbler for that border. The border was punched with Martha Stewart punch and the flowers punched with Stampin' Up! punch then sprayed with Shimmer that I put in a mister with alcohol.

Christmas cards
I've not been very active but am trying to get back in the groove. Here are a few Christmas cards that I have been working on lately. They are very simple and not time consuming at all. Most products used are from Stampin' Up!. I have added my favorite Stickles to all of these. I hope you enjoy.

Trip
We have been away and it has taken me some time to get back on my routine. We took a wonderful trip to Europe for 12 days. The Heart of Europe Tour offered by Trafalgar was the one we chose. The countries we visited were Munich, Germany; Prague, Czech Republic; Vienna, Austria; Venice, Italy and Lucerne, Switzerland. I have a few photos that I will share with you.
Munich, Germany was our first stop and these photos are of the world famous Glockenspiel on Munich's gothic town hall.

Chrismas again
Here are a few items I've been working on. I think the top card is my favorite of the Christmas ones I've been making. All card stock for everything here is from Stampin' Up!. I am really trying to use up some of what I have.
The verse in the first set is from Stampendous and I have used it very little until today but love the way it fits this card. The border punch is from Martha and I borrowed it, guess I have to get my own now don't I. Love how it finished off this card with the Organdy ribbon that I "heated" up. In the navy one I added tiny bead pearls to some of the bottom openings. I have to do this one in green and see which is my favorite. Do you have a favorite colors?
The second card uses the same border punch but I double punched the strip. I like the way it turned out but didn't know what to add to it. I decided on the ornament punch from Stampin' Up! that I spritzed with shimmer paint. The rub on is from Hambly Screen Prints.
The bottom item is going to be a Christmas gift and it is all retired Stampin' Up! designer paper. I cut our the letter with my Cricut and my new favorite cartridge Ashlyn's Alphabet. On the inside I printed off a calendar from print free calendars and added to the page. There is a pocket also inside. Hope the one that I made it for likes it.

SO FAR BEHIND - SWAP
I've been very so very busy that I have not kept up on here. Hope to get at least somewhat caught up soon.
These little paper flowers are ones I have made for a swap that I am in on the PAO group. I hope they like them. I used Stampin' Up! Designer Paper that is retired, the 5 Petal Flower punch, Shimmer Paint that was used with Alcohol for quick drying and a touch of Stickles.

Here I am all ready to leave to meet my walking friends. It is 4:15am and I needed to be at her house by 5 am. Lots of people joined in this walk. My first ever 5 K but not my last. The 2nd photois as I was going under the finish line. I was pleased to have completed it in that length of time. It was super hot and lots of water drank and lots of sweating done.

Paper Flower Book
I'm working on a Paper Flower Technique Book so that I can remember how to do these easy to make flowers.
This is my cover and the outside is Acrylic that I have from Stampin' Up! I have also placed one of the flowers I made on the outside.
The lettering is cut from the Cricut Base Camp Cartridge using Stampin' Up! Whisper White Card stock.
The letters are placed on a background cut from Stampin' Up! card stock using the Tim Holtz Alterations Die Baroque and placed inside the acrylic. My face sheet is Designer Specialty Paper Sending Love from Stampin' Up!
These are a couple of the inside pages. I have several more to get up later and the rest of my art journal pages.

I have gotten my Round One Art Journal back and simply love it. I have 2 blank pages but have already lined up a PAO sister to fill it for me. PAO by the way stands for: paperartistsonline.com
What a simply wonderful group. Give them a look. This is my first page that I completed before mailing it off.

On a roll......
More of the same. It really feels good to be making some cards again. I have seen some great techniques that I will have to try very soon. I also need to get back into my scrap booking. I have ever so many photos that really need to be put into some beautiful albums. This is mainly Stampin' Up! products.
I really like keeping the cards generic as they can be used for almost any occassion. I don't do anything on the inside until I use them and many times I just write a personal note.

Another round of cards
I used Rich Razzleberry for the top cardand the Stampin' Up! Two-Step set Greenhouse Garden. I just love flowers and this is one of my current favorite sets. I'm so glad to see that Stampin' Up! is keeping Rich Razzleberry as one of there great colors. It is really very popular.
I pulled out some old Designer Paper from my stash for the second card and a wonderful new punch that I recently got at Michael's. I just love punches, don't you Beki? LOL
Have a wonderful day and keep on Stampin'

PSL is over - ReCreate is over
Now I will have a little more time ;-)
I have been doing PSL over at Club Scrap since January and completed a lot of my scrap book pages. My team lost but I accomplished a lot and that is what counts. Had a good time getting things done. I'll be placing some of the layouts here in the next couple of weeks.
This past weekend I attended our ReCreate in Durham and had a ball. A group of us get together 2 times a year and do what ever - just share time together. I was able to do 24 layouts - sans photos and 14 with photos. I also did an altered house, swapped 6 x 6 pages and ATC's. For the houses we each filled a baggie with goodies and it was given to another person to completed. Here are some of the houses that were done. The first house is mine that I received back.

Long time
since I have been here. I hope to be able to get back on here at least once a week. Maybe with luck a little more often.
The above two photos are of a swap that I was involved with on Paperartists.com We each got 5 little baggies together with 5 items in them and mailed them to our hostess. She in turn sorted and mailed them off to various participants. We were to make a 4 x 4 page using the item sent along with what ever else we wished to use. These are my returns and I just love what the ladies did.
I have been very busy doing scrap pages as I am involved in PSL over on Club Scrap. I am really using up some of my huge stash of paper and many many of my photos. The above page is just one and an easy quick one that I did. This is all Club Scrap cardstock and the only fancy "stuff" on here is one of the great new Borderabilities by Spellbinders that I love.
